The story behind this image:
I love birds.
More specifically I love feathers. I am in awe of them, the myriad shapes, colours form and function of every single feather a bird possesses.
They remind me of the perfection of nature, how everything has a place and is designed to exist in perfect harmony with those elements in its immediate surrounding be that other feathers or the greater world.
This is not a shot of an eagle in Hokkaido (although that is in fact what it is).
For me this is a study of nature’s grand design.
